To promote the sport of cycling thru competitive racing, and community events, to encourage our youth to become involved in cycling as a life-long activity; and to grow the sport's awareness in East Tennessee.
The 4th Annual KnoxVelo time trial training series will be held on Hickory Creek Road between Watt Road and Eatons Crossroads on June 5, June 12 and June 19. For the first two weeks, the start will be near the Fireworks Superstore. For June 19, the start will be near the Eatons Elementary School and the course will be run in reverse. The first rider will start at 7 pm all three weeks. See the Race Flyer under the "RACES" tab for more information.
As was discussed during our April meeting, there has been some changes to the 2013 USAC Rules and Bike Measurement Regulations. Take a look at these documents if you are racing.
